Frozen Chocolate Banana Yogurt Clusters, like a mini ice cream bar, but much simpler and so much healthier. These treats are so easy to make with only a handful of ingredients and zero baking, nothing not to love! Frozen banana slices mixed with plain Greek yogurt, covered in chocolate, and finished with a dusting of flaky sea salt. And let your taste buds run wild with fun mix-ins. Peanut butter, pretzels, and cinnamon are just some ideas. These yogurt clusters are so delicious!

Aren’t these clusters cute and fun?! I’m sure you’re familiar with frozen yogurt, but these banana clusters are even better with sweet additions of bananas and a chocolate coating! With summer approaching and the weather steadily getting warmer, I’m feeling more and more excited about frozen treats.

Originally, I wasn’t going to share this recipe with you all. It felt like too simple of an idea and maybe not all that exciting. But then I made the clusters with some ripe bananas that needed to get used up and some Greek yogurt I had on hand. And we’ve been hooked on them ever since.

These are such a yummy snack to keep stashed away in the freezer, and they completely fulfill any “sweet-tooth” cravings! My mom, who has really been limiting her sugar intake, is especially in love with these. The combination of sweet creamy banana, dark chocolate, and vanilla is a healthier way to satisfy those chocolate cravings!

Sometime last summer I experimented with frozen fruit, specifically frozen bananas. I created and shared a very simple recipe for chocolate-covered bananas that we all love.

These clusters just build on that recipe even more. The addition of yogurt and honey makes them more of a creamy frozen treat.

As you would guess, these come together easily. You’ll need ripe, but firm bananas, plain Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if you want something a little sweeter), chocolate, and coconut oil.

If you wanted to add peanut butter to some, you’ll need that too! Or any nut butter for that matter. But the nut butter is completely optional.

Now grab a cupcake mold and line it with paper liners.

Take your bananas, slice them up, and mix them with yogurt and vanilla. If you’ve decided you want a cluster that’s sweet, add honey or maple syrup to taste. I don’t usually add any sweetener, but many do prefer the added sweetness.

Do what suits you!

Next, spoon the bananas into the paper liners and freeze. Nothing needs to be perfect. These are clusters, so no pressure to make each cluster look the same! Just have fun with these.

Once the clusters are frozen, dip each into the melted chocolate, then sprinkle with sea salt if desired. And that’s it! You can eat them right after covering them in chocolate, or keep them stashed away in the freezer for easy snacking!

My best tip is to try not to make the clusters too big, just 2-3 banana slices per cluster is ideal. I know it’s tempting, but if you pile these too high, things just get messy and hard to eat.

Other than that, no notes to add. These really are that simple. They’re a healthy way to enjoy dessert any time of day. Which makes us love this recipe even more!
